Lanre Ajiboye is a results-driven insurance professional with more than 15 years of progressive experience in bancassurance, client relationship management, business development, and team leadership. He currently serves as Head of Bancassurance at Capital Express Indemnity Insurance Limited, where he has a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving new business growth, strengthening client retention, and building strategic partnerships with financial institutions.
His core expertise includes strategy formulation, sales optimisation, cross-selling, product development for banks, and leading high-performing teams. He has previously held key roles, including Senior Manager and Head of Financial Institutions at Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, as well as Senior Business Executive, Bancassurance, at Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc. His notable achievements include launching insurance platforms for major banks, securing strategic partnerships, and consistently exceeding key performance indicators.
He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). He is also a strong communicator with expertise in negotiation, data analysis, Microsoft Office, and client relationship management.
